Server Plugin

As I was on Day of Defeat: Source on one of the UKCS servers, I realised that they had a plugin that, whenever you typed; /pm in-game chat, you could check your posts on the forum. It tells you what posts you have in the forum. It even shows you your inbox from who you've had messages off.

For example;

{P}¹ Jonesie |ESF|: /pm

Message from Eraserhead:
Welcome to the forum, Jonesie. I hope you enjoy your stay with us and we hope you like our servers. See you on the battlefield!

Thats the type of things that the plugin would suffice.

We already have a plugin called webshortcuts which we could use to make any shortcut we want. We could make one that takes you to the homepage of the forum. Or isn't that what you want?

Personally i never read the forum while i'm ingame.

I'll say it again but this time, I'll make it easier to understand.

So basically what would be good for us, I think, would be a plugin that you could view your messages in-gamed but, it comes up at the side of your screen without taking up the whole screen itself.

Eraser, you just said that you could put it so it brings up the website. Well, that would be good but, we want to still carry on playing without anything taking up the whole screen.

ok that sounds nice indeed. Does it only display private forum messages or any new topic on the forum?

Send me the ip and port of this server so I can try to see what plugin they are using.

@Eraser; I think it only works for private messages.

@Jameless; Its a Day of Defeat: Source server. But, they have it on TF2 as well.

Yea that's fine. The ip and port will give me their sourcemod information so I can search it there as long as they are using sourcemod it doesn't matter what game it is.

Meh doesn't seem really attractive to me.
Sounds barely usable, plus, when im playing TF2, I don't read the forum.
But we'll see.
