Rotation Server

I will try to populate the rotation server a few times considering how tired I am of shitty that orange_x3.

I helped fill it friday and saturday, not today though, was busy in the morning

I might do tuesday or wednesday. My new computer comes tomorrow so I'll be back in action.

Oh and on changing maps- don't. Leave the map on until there are no people in the server. If people are still in the server playing on the map, they must be having fun. Don't ruin it by changing the map. You don't need to change the map at the end of every couple rounds.

So who will populate the server today?

Friday went well, was filled most of the day.

We could do a weekly schedule where certain people fill it certain days, but I can't promise to be able to do that with school coming up.

New experiment: We added bots.

Server will have 8 bots, each time a player joins the bots are kicked. If you have questions or suggestions post here or contact me.

I am not sure this is a good idea

In my opinion, we need a competitive server. Because our orange server is a joke. I raged so hard at my team today. The last pint was being captured by only a scout and their my teammates just passed by the scout like he wasn't doing anything. WE REALLY NEED A COMPETITIVE SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eraserhead could we make a poll on what kind of server it should be competitive, with just competitive maps such as arena ect., or a regular rotation server, with dustbowl, goldrush,ect. ?

Our current rotation server is about as competitive as you can get a pub.

Well I never saw any arean maps. Or was that like no put in the server rotation purposely?

As for the less chan reaction, we hardly play arena mostly because people don't want to. Feel free to RTD one or ask an admin to change it to it. However Arena is almost never competitive from my experience. Still it is fun to play every now and then. GO GO BATTLE ENGIE!

We changed it to 6 bots now. Well i played there last night together with Chuck and Google, it was hard to fill the server but i guess it might be because it was monday. We had Gravelpit on.

The bots were fine for me, it kept some joining players longer on the server. There was even 1 player who played alone against the bots before i came so i think this will help us fill the server. I still think we need to make a schedule to populate the server on a daily basis though.

Leave that to me! I'll go ahead and do that later today.

Lol that was me playing with the bots. They are such noobs!!!!!!!!!!!

I lol'd at arena competitive.

I was testing the changes i made to bonus round time today and 1 person joined, he was playing with the bots. Then more people joined until there were more players there then on orange. So to get it filled today was easy, map = cp_gorge.

Eraserhead, maybe those maps that get filled up easily with bots should be written down on a list. Just for future reference.

for now i can say with certainty that coldfront and gorge are maps that can be filled easily.

I changed RTV % to 50% required since it's rarely successful. Not sure who set it to 60% in the first place!

I agree with google on this one. Time is of the essence, not map.
