the vote ban command some changes

yeah euhm this is my first topic so lets give it a shot

i just got band from pulp from because i wasnt melee playing and i kild some one BUT i just joind and they voted to ban me and there was no one of pulp there on the server.

thats wy i want to ask i ist possible to make the votes only for pulp clan members or something like that or donaters because its not really funny to get band just because i just joind and get band for 30 min from my fav server

Well you don't have to melee. This orange server is not a melee server. Unless a votemelee has been started by an admin. And yes I agree that voteban should only be for members. So no worries. Maybe ask Eraserhead to unban you or something if you still are.

Well, there are many problems with making it only pulp members and donor's being allowed to vote ban.

1) They too can voteban out of spite, and if they just generally don't like your company, or if they get "egged" on to voteban someone by a friend.

2) there WONT always be a donor or a member of PULP on the server.

3) vote ban is the general feeling of a person on the server. there usually is a reason that someone is vote banned. So, the general census of the server says that they don't like you, so you get banned for 30min. (or how ever long the ban is for)

well some servers have a process for vote banning. Like the type vote ban. And then they have to pick a reason why they are vote banning that person from the list. And that would be registered somewhere.

And yes I do believe some changes need to be made. People can't voteban you Atra because you are not meleeing like they would like you to.
You are 100% right and i'm 100% with you on that shot.

There are way too many douchebags coming on the server and spamming those features. There needs to be something done or our own members are getting jarate'd.

You should just say this:
"If you wanna melee go to a melee server. This isn't a melee server! Does it even say 24/7 melee?!" Then see how people react, then just get a admin in.

I'm not the only one that can unban, other admins can do that too thank god sourcemod.
